[Odor Control Case Study] Measures for Odor Generation During Herbal Medicine Manufacturing

Introduction of odor control delivery results for industrial factories.

Kyousei Air Tech Co., Ltd. proposes odor control measures that satisfy our customers, providing comprehensive assistance from investigation and measurement to the design, manufacturing, and installation of deodorization equipment. Our company, which has tackled odor control measures for various factories, will introduce some case studies. 【Odor Control Measures During Herbal Medicine Manufacturing】 ■ Background While manufacturing herbal medicine in the factory, complaints about odors arose from nearby residents when the air from the room was discharged outdoors. We received inquiries regarding odor control measures during the manufacturing process. Upon inspecting the factory, we found that a large quantity of herbal medicine was being boiled in a large pot, and the extraction process was generating a strong odor. Although exhaust fans were installed, there were no hoods or similar structures above the pot, causing the generated odors to fill the entire room. Additionally, the exhaust outlet was located less than 20 meters from the property boundary, leading us to determine that effective deodorization of the emitted odors was necessary. *If you are interested in the details of the measures taken, please download and view the case study collection from the link below.

[Odor Control Case Study] Odor Control Measures for Supplement Manufacturing Plant Exhaust

Introduction of odor control delivery results for industrial factories.

Kyosei Air Tech Co., Ltd. proposes odor control measures that satisfy our customers, providing comprehensive assistance from investigation and measurement to the design, manufacturing, and installation of deodorization equipment. Our company, which has tackled odor control for various factories, will introduce some case studies. 【Odor Control Measures for a Supplement Manufacturing Factory】 ■Background Complaints arose from a residential area located 600 meters away from a yolk supplement manufacturing factory. Although a biological deodorization system was already installed, it was insufficient to eliminate the overwhelming odors. The situation had reached a point where operations would have to be halted, leading to an inquiry to our company. We conducted a preliminary consultation and tests, confirming that if the deodorization efficiency did not exceed 90%, odors would disperse into the surrounding residential area. The odors were a mixture of sulfur compounds from the eggs and burnt smells generated during the cooking process in the kiln. Since we achieved over 90% deodorization efficiency in the preliminary verification tests, we installed a Hybrid Scrubber Type H II. *If you are interested in the details of the measures taken, please download the case study collection from the link below.*
